Happy New Year
January 1st, 2009I'm already tired of cleaning up that big new driveway. 
What a crapload of snow.
We sealed the stone backsplash in the kitchen tonight and it looks amazing. Also did the fire place, which was about two years overdue.
We're not sorry to see 08 close out. It was pretty much the most stressful year of our lives. We refuse to let 09 come even close, so here's to a nice peaceful future in the new shack.
Stay tuned. I'll be doing a bunch of posts I'm going to call "Anatomy Of A Reno", which will go through all the stages of construction, outlining what went wrong, what went right, things we wish we would have done, and things we're happy to have included. And as Gina mentioned, I'll also keep you up to date on the progress of building an office in the basement.
